UE Generalist

While focusing on pre-production and proof of concept for the animated feature film portion of this ambitious project, we aimed to create assets and environments usable across various media, including games and VR/AR experiences with Unreal Engine. Using UE for scene assembly and rendering was liberating, though it came with its own quirks.
I led tool development for the animation pipeline, developed mesh processing tools, conducted R&D on cloth and hair simulation, and contributed to lighting and character art and grooms,. Additionally, I implemented all non-crowd character animation and many cached cloth and hair simulations in UE for multiple sequences, and led experimentation on a pose space deformation workflow.

Worked from concept to release and a couple years of live support on this game, I was responsible for layout and design, modeling, texturing, shading, rigging, lighting, I helped supervise outsourcing, helped define and establish the workflow and worked on Unity implementation/shading/debugging.

NARS SWEET RUSH – ROBLOX EXPERIENCE

A small team and fast turnaround – I ramped up on the Roblox platform and executed on our clients vision for this experience that was live for 1 month and hit 9.3 million play sessions and an 83% like rating. Game-jam style production process meant fast, constant art production.
We created four Mario Party style game boards along with a dozen different mini-game environments and assets.
